it sounds to me like it could be your abs motor trying to pressurize. may be low on brake fluid. abs reservoir on my 94' accord is towards front of engine on driver side. there are 2 reservoirs-1 for master cylinder and 1 for abs.

You are probably hearing your fuel pump relay close. The throttle positioning solenoid also clicks on some vehicles.

2002 C230 when engine starts there are eight intermittent click noises in the dash and then clicking stops. Is this from the fan motor?

No its not from the fan motor, its from a stepper motor, which controls air flow to the drivers side footwell. The linkage for the motor breaks, and causes the clicking noise. There is a updated linkage peice that can be installed.

Why does your gmc Yukon make clicking sounds when you turn?

My Yukon had the same problem. At first i thought it was the lifter, but i replaced those and it still kept clicking. I was looking into my engine one day and noticed there was a high heat bolt missing from a hole in my exhaust manifold. I replaced it with another high heat bolt and it stopped making the clicking noise. If you dont replace the bolt, the noise should stop after your engine gets hot and the metal starts to expand. Hope this helps!

Why does your car make a clicking noise when trying to turn on engine?

It could be your battery. Try honking your horn and hold it down...see if it sounds strong the whole time, or if it starts strong and then starts to fade out. It could also be the starter. The battery is easier to fix, especially if you have AAA. Good luck!

How can you tell if a cv joint is bad?

Inspect the rubber boot that covers the joint. If it is torn, and there is dirt and grit up inside, your cv joint is about to fail. You'll know it is failing when it starts clicking. It will click each time the wheel turns. The clicking gets worse as you turn the wheel. The clicking gets worse and louder and turns into a 'thunk' right before it self destructs.

How does the temperature gauge help in car?

Its just there to let you know that the engine is running at a normal temperature and isn't overheating. If your engine starts to overheat, you can tell then do something about it. Pull over and check, let it cool before proceeding to a garage, before it is too late and the engine is destroyed.
