P0455 has several pages of potential causes. It's typically a loose gas cap (95% of the time). Otherwise can be vaccum leaks, fuel leaks, etc. It's usually a very minute problem that will not damage your car, but will, if there is a legitimate leak, lower gas mileage and/or performance.
ask the mechanic from the Nissan company
About $800 if u get a good mechanic
replace fuel cap with Nissan only OEM replacement.
around $1000 us
The estimated cost to replace a clutch and radiator, in a 1989 Nissan pickup truck is $1100. A private mechanic may be able to do the job for less.
more than the miserable car is worth
I would recommend taking this repair to a qualified mechanic.
My husband is a mechanic for a Nissan dealership. He said that you would take the old one off of the transmission and replace it with a new one.
take it to the Nissan dealer like I did with my 93 altima with heads up display. The first mechanic that tried, suggested this, and it works fine now.
None i have found on line. Get a manual on your car. Not an easy job or one for a backyard mechanic.
They typically screw into the exhaust manifold and have an electrical connection. They're easy to remove/replace, but sometimes getting to them can be a little difficult.
I only paid $240 with my private mechanic. Call him 818-848-9404. He is a very honest and trusted mechanic ever!
