After much time searching I found out that not all 1990's has a crank sensor. Dodge used up some 1989 engines in the 1990 production, thus some do NOT have crank sensors.
I NEED HELP DIAGOSING THIS ONE! It runs great, then it will loose power, and smell like flooding, and stall out. The fuel pressure remains constant at 14 lbs PSI. Spark remains. After a few minutes it will start up and rev up to clear out and all is well till next ime.
could be many things, probably a crank sensor
The crank position sensor is located by the crank shaft on a ford 350 xl 5.8 liter.
Does your vehicle have the LT1? if so there is no crank sensor.. there is an optic sensor in the distributor that controls all..
It is in front of the starter on my van.1990 350
Gm. did not use a crank shaft sensor in 1988, It had a distributor that done everything.
It has leaf springs.
It's on the bottom front of engine right behind the vibration dampener.
oil pressure switch or knock sensor
A 93 does not have a crank or cam sensor. Ask your question again. Tell us why you think it had a bad sensor, Tell us your symptons too.
depending on what engine you have, 4.3 v-6 or 305 v-8 or if your lucky the 350......chevy never ran a crank sensor on an engine that old. If it wont start, check spark, if you have spark, check fuel.
crawl under the engine, at the front where the crank pullet is you will see an elctrical connection right behond the pulley. New answer; Sorry but that is the cam sensor, The crank senor is behind the starter on the block, Depending on the year. Crank senor has never been inTHE FRONT OF THE ENGINE.
yes
