I was horrified, didnt know what to do so i called the Police. After a moment the police and Animal control called me back saying that deer swim from the main land to MV all the time, that is 7 miles. I still wanted to jump in and save the buck. strange to see

Yes they do. I have witnessed deer swimming from the mainland of Nova Scotia to one of the islands off the coast. By boat the ride is about 5 minutes. They swim well and quickly.
No deer can not swim. Some people claim to see deer swimming but they are either standing on a rock out in the water or on an under water bridge that only deer know of. They can smell it underwater and like to walk on the bridge out to the middle of the pond or lake. They usually hide under water but are sometimes caught taking a breathe of air. There are websites that give false information saying "Although deer prefer to be on land, they can swim up 13 mph." That information is wrong. DEER CAN NOT SWIM.

The related question "How fast can a deer run?" is answered: "Deer are able to run up to 40 miles per hour, jump 9 foot fences, and swim 13 miles per hour. " Mule deer are relatively small deer, so I would guess they are somewhat slower.

You must be at the Lake of Rage and use Surf to swim towards the Red Gyarados. Either capture or defeat the Gyarados and then make your way back to the bank of the lake, you will now meet up with the black cape guy.
June is the middle of winter in Cape Town. While some hardy individuals swim through out the year the water temperatures are not inviting. The sea temperatures along the Atlantic coast of Cape Town will be less than 10 C, while the warmer waters of False Bay will be a few degrees warmer. For more information on the beaches of Cape Town you may refer to the link that I have provided.
