I changed out the blower fan on my 89 without having to remove any of the a.c. The fan housing is against the firewall in the engine compartment. There is a two-wire connector going to it and a small rubber hose for condensation drainage

I have a 1996 Bonneville and it has a Phillips head screw on each side of the armrest. If yours is like that then you should be able to just unscrew them and pop it out.
You don`t want to go there !( Trust me.) Take it to a radiator shop.

For such a large job, if it is not obvious to you, you should be using a repair manual, or take it to a competent shop.

Begin by training the water from your 1997 Pontiac Bonneville cooling system. Remove the heater core water supply hoses. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
Begin by removing the retaining ring at the top of your 1990 Pontiac Bonneville ignition switch. The ignition switch will slide out. Remove the wiring harness from the end of the ignition switch. Reverse the process to install your new ignition switch.

You have to remove the motor mount. Once the motor mount is removed you can remove the old water pump and install the new one. Make sure the area is clean before you install the new one.
On the other side of the tail lights, inside the trunk fastened with plastic nobs, pull back trunk trim panel.
