Do you know where the camshaft sensor is located on a 1991 Olds 98?

The Camshaft and crankshaft sensors sit behind the main pully, you really need a mechanic to change this because if you don't torque it right they will shift and you will have to replace them again. The parts are only about $40 a piece but the labor will run you about 2-$300.

The cam sensor is located below the water pump and left of center. Most likely if there is a problem with theis, then the magnet has come off of the timing gear (which triggers the sensor). Remove the senor, then use a mirror and turn the motor until you can see if it's still there. Good luck!
