Usually while you fast you lose water weight that you easily gain, I am doing it myself, but I looked around and I found that out. I did lose 3-5 pounds not eating, but I didn't see a difference in my belly, thighs, or arms. Though my sister says I did. So fasting is very complicated, so perhaps while you fast you should work-out and go for a walk, but don't do any hardcore exercises, you may get light headed. But if you walk for a hour a day, two seperate times, your body will instinctively go into "Survivor mode" and burn the fat. We have very smart bodies, so it'll know to stop and start with burning of the fat.

So, to answer your question, (from what I know) when you fast you usually lose WATER weight and it'll be easily gained back, so you should walk or do a FEW sit-ups daily and drink alot of water. The day after you fast you should have two cups of water with a little salt and lemon to wash out your digestive system. But have those two cups within three hours from eachother.

And for another tip; You shouldn't eat several hours before bedtime because your body shuts down while you sleep. (I have been obsessing over this for forever!) :D I hope this helps.
