Question:Someone stole my iPod Touch and I was just wondering if he can reset the passcode and use it for himself?Answer:They can only access your data if he knows your passcode, if he doesn't know it he can't access your data, but he can plug it into a computer and restore it and make it usable for himself but all your data will be erased.
you can restore the whole ipod
You have to restore the iPod through iTunes.
Enter your 4-digit passcode. If it is not your iPod Touch, do not attempt to hack it, since hacking is illegal in most places. If it is your iPod, you have to restore it through iTunes if you forgot the passcode.
Unfortunately, the only way to bypass a passcode is to restore.
Well for any iPod you could plug it into your computer and when it comes up go to summary and click "Restore" it will be under "Update" But if you don't have that computer with you, on your iPod touch, go to settings, then go to General, then go to Passcode Lock, then enter a/your Passcode, and switch on erase data. Then lock it and keep entering the wrong Passcode (this may take hours to get it to START restoring) 10 times. Then when you have it restored connect it to iTunes and their you have it. But i would do the 1st on said because it is ALOT quicker and easier.
Yes, there is. Apple iPad is, I think, is a computer by Apple that is fully touch.
You would have to reset your i touch by connecting to the computer, going to iTunes, then completely reset it.
you can change the apple id password but the ipod's passcode no!
If you know the passcode, you can go into Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you've entered the correct passcode. If you don't know the passcode, then you'll need to do a restore. Instructions from Apple's support site follows.Use the following steps to restore your device:Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.Connect your device to your computer.Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.Select the Summary tab.Select the Restore option. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up.The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. Once your device is restored and-in the case of the iPhone-in the process of activating, you should be able to see the following in iTunes.Note, if you don't have your passcode, you may not have already had a backup, in which case, you'll need to start up a new iPod Touch from scratch.
you can't youll have to go into dfu and restore it
