Does Bondo dust particles pose a problem if left in house I used to fill gaps in wood and while sanding dust got everywhere and have a 2 month old child?

For pure sanding of bondo or metal, No. If you are preping to paint or sanding primer you should use Wet or Dry sandpaper and sand wet.

Once you are shaped and sanded, get primer on it right away. Bondo and other fillers hold water. 5. Don't leave primer on too long without painting, it holds water as well. 6. When you're are shaping and sanding, WEAR A MASK. The dust can ruin your lungs.
