If not, then what might cause a 1996 Volkswagen Golf to shift from 2 to 3 at 40km/h and then 3 to 4 (Overdrive) at 50km/hr?
Pls note, aside from this, the car works fine, its even hard to notice when the car switches from gear 1 to 2.
Am asking cos i just got it and am not sure if this is how they all are, or if its a sign of impending trouble.
