salt evaperats faster than all of sugar and salt mixed and your mom ( . ) ( . )
when you mix something such as, sugar or salt, with water, you lower the concentration of water molecules
I think the temperature affect salt crytals
salt is a good preservative because it shows the osmosis phenomenon. if there are bacrteria in the medium it deosmolysis them and hence stop there growth. same function is done by sugar.
Na+ ions and Cl- ions are formed from salt ... twice as many particles are dissolved as the sugar. So the boiling point will be higher for the salt solution.
The amount of salt in a liquid can affect how osmosis occurs. Osmosis is a net movement of molecules due to the concentration present.

The variable for both sugar and salt is temperature: more sugar or salt will dissolve in water at a higher temperature. The amount of water is also a factor, since more water will be able to dissolve more sugar or salt.
The salt will cause the ice to melt faster. the sugar shouldn't have much of a difference.
Beacuse itss

Salt solutions are used in osmosis experiment to show that water will move to the side that has more salt. "Water follows salt."
Salt dissolves more easily than sugar, in my experience. But the solubility is similar. :)
because the inter molecular bonds in sugar are very weaker, where as salt will be haaving strong ionic bonds.
The salt leaches the fluids out of the slug, due to osmosis. The slug then dies of dehydration.
