You cannot use any remote key for a 2002 Chevy Suburban. Each key remote, or FOB, is programmed to each individual vehicle. If the FOB is lost please contact your dealer.
Most of them, yes. If the key is grey, or is the big key with built in remote then definatly yes.
That depends if it has the chipped key system. If it requuires a chipped key it will not run without one.
If you no longer have the remote key you will need a transponder (chip) key. You can get one from the dealer, or there are some other places that sell them. You will have to use that key in the Drivers door to unlock the door and this will disarm the alarm.
The key remote for a 2002 745i requires a computer at the dealer to program it. The vehicle owner can not do this at home.
use a hammer..:)
There is a malfunction in the "chip" key system.
Yes it is.
Unlock the door with the key or use the remote.
Lexus has to hook their computer to it to program the key to both lock/unlock and to start the vehicle.
Turn the ignition key at a normal rate on and off about 8 or 9 times. (not to the point where the starter would engage) Your door locks will lock then unlock automatically, when this happens, press a key on the new remote. You new remote should now work.
Unlock the car with the remote or the key in the door.
