To remove the door panel on a 1994 VW Jetta, first remove the lenses of any lights that are in the door panel. If there are electric locks, the armrest will have to be removed by loosening the screw on the bottom. Then the door panel can be removed by loosening the 8 clips holding it to the door frame.
To remove a rear door panel on a 2006 kia sodona you need to take it to a professional mechanic to have it removed.
To take the drivers side lock out of a 1990 4runner you will first need to remove the door cover panel. Once the door cover panel is removed you will have access to the lock and can replace it.
Pop out the window control button first. Then there are two plugs behind the interior door handle that need to be removed. Then using a Torx (T-25) screw driver remove two screws behind where the pugs were. You need to go upward at a slight angle to contact the screws. Once they have been removed (they may fall down inside the door but will be able to be recovered when the door panel is removed) begin at the bottom of the door and spring out the door panel going in both directions around towards the top. Then the entire panel can be lifted up and removed. Take care to allow the door operating handle to slide out from its position in the panel.
Take off all the screws on the door panel.
The interior front door panel of a 4-door is attached to the door with two screws in the arm rest, three at the bottom of the panel, one at the edge nearest the door latch, and one in a separate plastic panel near the outside mirror. Remove the screws using a Phillips screw driver, then gently pull on the panel to remove it. After loosening the panel there is an electrical connector to unplug (with electric door locks) before the panel can be completely removed from the door. Removing rear door panels or the panels on 2-door Cavaliers should be similar.
You don't without breaking the door panel.
If you have crank windows you first must remove the window crank. Take a flat head screw driver and carefully pry the door panel from the crank...it will have a horse-shoe clip which needs to be removed first. You can remove the clip with a small makeshift hook. Afrer the crank is off there are screws along the bottom of the panel, there are screws under the arm rest which need to be removed. The rest of the panel is held on with clips which can be removed by prying the panel off with a flat head screw driver...this must be done to the front and back of the panel. Once the panel is free, pull it towards you to free the door knob and then just lift it up...good luck to you
its really easy. unscrew all the screws on the door panel. Next there is a extra bolt on the side facing towards the back of the car, make sure that is removed as well. After that take your handle to open the door and slide it towards the front of the car then pull, there will be two metal things on your handle, one is to lock/unlock the door and the next is to open it(they are easy to take off but hard to put back on) after that is removed take the panel and slide it up to the sky then pull out. And viola. Good luck.
Since this question is in the Saturn area, it must be assumed that you are asking about removal of a Saturn door panel. The inner door panel of a Saturn is not removable, it is integral to the door frame. However, you can remove the outer door panel. First, remove the outer door handle; lift the handle enough to reveal the pins that hold the handle to the door latch mechanism, then press out the two pins and set the handle aside. Next, open the door and remove the screws around the perimeter of the outer door panel. After the screws are removed, the outer door panel should lift off easily.
