The filter is made for more than one application, the old filter had to have some kind of seal on it or the oil would have leaked out. Match one of the new o rings up to the old one and use it on the new filter. Buy oem parts next time and you wont have this problem.
where can i find a manual for a swim pro sand pool filter s48c 51201?
Release the pressure from the system by loosening the top nut. Then just loosen the nut for in and out. Make sure you replace the washers. I believe there are three washers.
The filter should be changed every 12 months. To find out how to do that you will need the instruction manual which can be ordered from the manufacturer if you no longer have it.
1: depressurize lines. 2: unbolt filter(use 2 wrenches at same time) 3: put in new filter and new washers. 4: start car. http://www.kick-fix.com/INJECTORS/depressure.html
Probably because you have a plugged inlet filter. All washers have this tiny filter inside the inlet hose. -Another possible reason is the electrically controlled inlet valve, it may fail .
On a v6 it is located on the passenger side of the motor near the front on the bottom. be sure that the washer on the oil filter comes off with the filter, or there could be an oily mess. For some reason these washers like to stick. Not sure about v8 location
You go to the where you bought the car from and you get them to do it. It is very complicated. :)
How do you replace fuel filter on 1993 Buick LeSabre, the replacement filter I bought appears to be a snap on. I have only replaced the screw on type.
No. The filter from your old refrigerator will not work with the new refrigerator that you bought. They are totally different models so you will have to purchase a new filter.
You buy a new one at say autozone and the fuel filter is located inside the engine compartment on the passenger side just unscrew the fuel lines and un bolt the old filter and replace with the new one using the washers supplied in the box
The fuel filter is on the passenger side of the engine. Open your gas cap before disconnecting the two fuel line. Loosen and remove the two fuel line fittings, then remove the bolt holding the clamp to remove the filter. Replace the filter using new washers. Check for leaks with the engine running.
What is your Goal - Not pay Sears prices for an oil filter? I bought a NAPA brand oil (1348) filter for my riding lawn mower with a 16 HP Kohler for $6.
