try changing your coil ignition packs
Disconnect the battery cable for about 10 minutes and the light will be reset. If it comes on again after driving, it's a recurring problem and you can get the codes read and hopefully fix the problem. Had same problem and changed the ignitionmodule, problem solved and runs great
We are having the same problem with our 1993 Precidia MX-3 1.8L, it keeps stalling when driving, we just coast to a stop than wait about 30 seconds then it starts up and we can drive it again till next day!? I changed the fuel filter thinking it was that, no, that didn't help. Changed the spark plugs that didn't help. Next would be the fuel pump, but before I do that I want to be sure that is the part I need to replace. Because it is a big job! Anyone else have this problem??? Help.....
I had this Problem once on an old Nissan. Once i changed the switch the problem continued. What resolved the issue was changing the ballast resistor located on the blower housing, Once i changed this resistor, all my speeds became available again.
In 2004, my 99 Tahoe had a thump when i changed gears. I changed the u joint and that was it, total cost 12.00. its the yoke sliding in and out of your transfer case.. there is no real fix for it, its been a problem on Tahoe's and blazer, gm says to grease the yoke which does help but after a month or so of driving the noise comes back again...
try replacing the ignitor iside the distributer it operates the fuel injectors mine has went out 3 different times
Its either timing or fuel intake problem.
souns like a misfiring.
check youralternator plugs, and then if that does not work try checking vacuum lines or MAF. Timing belt is possibly slipping but that would cause more damage and once out of line would not let you start it up again
Answercheck for any kind of vaccum leak if none clean the throtle body with carb. gleaner and a soft tooth brushI had this problem once and found out it was the thermostat. Changed it and it never happened again.
