I had one installed in my in ground pool in the fall of 2005 in Massachusetts. Have not had any problems with it until the spring of 2009, when it put out its first error code. Still waiting on the failure analysis.

No.....its against the law to clear codes.
The SRS light is on because there is a problem with the air bags! This problem could be fatal! So have the car scanned and find out what is wrong. Fix it. The light should go out on its own, if not the same place that scanned it can clear the fault and turn out the light. Auto parts store Like Auto Zone or Auto Value will scan for free.
take it to your nearest auto parts store(autozone or advance auto) and they will clear the code for you but i would suggest you fix the problem first otherwise it will just come back on
Go to Auto Zone. They will check the code and clear it for you free of charge!
go to an auto shop that has a scantool and have them turn it off for you.you may have to fix the problem before the code can be clear.
