Yes, you have to properly bleed the pump per the instructions
She drowned, as in When Sierra tried to swim, she drowned. No offence to anyone named Sierra, but there's one that I REALLY hate.
Anyone with kidney failure.
my steering was getting very hard almost to the point of locking up I added p/s fluid and it works well this or the pump neede the boot and my tires were wearing badly and quickly because of the struts replaced them and alignment stopped the problem
It's because you bought a Chevy! Get a Ford or Dodge and you will solve those kind of problems.
Yes,they all had electrical problems. 1,the engine ecu 2,the radio controls on the steering wheel 3,the transmission shift program
Anyone can tell you the shortcut for failure may be style in education. Not all students can learn from new learning styles, some still need the traditional learning techniques. Anyone can introduce a new style of teaching, but the failure is if not all students can learn from this new style.
Has anyone answered this?
Power assist steering and Power Steering are the same thing, just difrent names from difrent Manufacturers.
Yes i have a steering problem with a SRI V6 Vectra that is on 1999V. Its a strange issue where the tracing changes on its own. If you go around a left turn quite hard the steering will be straight. If you go around a right turn sharp then the steering will be half a turn out. When the steering is out the car still drives fine with no wobbles and doesnt pull anywhere. Have all the track rod ends etc checked, seems ok! Anyone got any ideas? Thanks Jay
I had one installed in my in ground pool in the fall of 2005 in Massachusetts. Have not had any problems with it until the spring of 2009, when it put out its first error code. Still waiting on the failure analysis.
i am having the same problem...have you found the solution yet? I had the same problem and had to get the steering column replaced. This is not something anyone can cause nor prevent. I had it fixed by the dealer but GM was not accomodating in fixing the defect in their product. I have filed a complaint with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at (888) 327-4236. If enough people call with complaints, it can prompt a recall in which GM will have to pay for the reapirs. I encourage anyone with power steering problems to call and file a complaint. This power steering component is the same as the Pontiac G6. NHTSA forced an extension on the warranty of that part due to complaints by G6 owners.
