Upon reviewing online casualty lists from both Iraq and Afghanistan, to date (August 14, 2009) there have been no SEAL's apparently Kia this year. The worst SEAL losses were likely in 2005, when several members of SEAL Team 10 were KIA when their helo was shot down while attempting to reinforce a SEAL recon team under fire.
However, it's important to keep in mind that most SEAL missions are highly classified, and in many cases casualties aren't reported publicly until the mission is over and the members debriefed, and the family notified. So it's entirely possible there may be an unknown number of SEAL casualties we may not know about yet.
