Having a problem with 98 Toyota Camry car won't start and security light is flashing and making clicking noise?
It does not start because kill switch relay does not allow it. You need to test the relay and make sure that it works properly. Also you might have to check the security unit. Make sure that you have turn off security system before you start the car (sometimes remotes do not work properly).
Why does the security light flash sometimes and not allow the key to turn on yet if you wait a few minutes then it allowes the key to be turned to start the car?
Why would a 2002 Impala's headlights stay on after the normal security time when the car is turned off?
How can you set the radio code in Honda crv 2004 after error E due to wrong trials having already the security good code?
You don't state the problem you are having, but chances are that you are nodding off and something is waking you. If a security element fails, that could be a critical problem for the system.

From what I have read and heard from a couple of mechanics it is a bad a/c mode door actuator. Dealer charges somewhere between $700 and $1,000. I've read that to do it yourself it requires a special tool.
A flashing "check engine" light indicates that you're having a serious problem with one or more of the EFI circuits. You need to connect it to a diagnostic code reader to find out what's wrong. I suggest a visit to your local auto parts retailer where you can usually borrow, rent or buy a code scanner that will work with your vehicle. When it's flashing there is often a potential that something serious is going…
