How can i get the ignition tumbler out of my 2001 Pontiac grand prix The key will come out but the steering wheel is locked now and i can't get the key to turn in any direction?

have you checked to be sure the wheel lock is not engaged.? pull down on the left side of the wheel, as if trying to turn left, then try to turn the key.
