How do you disable the alarm on the 2003 hyundai elantra?
To disable a 2002 Hyundai Elantra alarm system, put the key in the ignition. Turn the key halfway ensuring the car does not start. Leave the key in this position for 10 minutes before starting the car.
REMOVING THE AIRBAG FUSE AND/OR DISABLING THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS DANGEROUS AND ILLEGAL.
This happened to me not too long ago. It wouldn't even take a boost. Turns out when you hook up your car to get a boost you have to hit the unlock button on your key fob and that should disengage it! Hope that helps.
Insert -> Eject belt within 3 seconds. It should disable chimes until you turn off engine.
I'm having a similar problem. The passengar seat belt will not close, which causes the beeping to never end. Currently, I have disabled the beeping. I removed the door panel on the side with the problem, unplugged the grey connector and placed a wire in the plug shorting it out to fool it into thinking the door is still open. Kevin
You should pull the codes and then clear them with a scan tool.
Instead of disabling it, just don't drink. That works just as well
If you are talking about when you are parked, my 2006 Forrester will stop beeping at you if you buckly your seat belt then unbuckle it. The warning does not come back on
You are supposed to wear your seat belt in order to stop the seat belt alarm from chiming on a Hyundai Sonata. This is an important safety mechanism that should not be tampered with.
To DISABLE beep, you must unscrew and removed back plate of watch and place a piece of paper between back plate from coming in contact with battery. This will also disable alarm chime but will solve the annoying beeping sound. Hope this helps!
It is an alarm system in disabled toilets with a red cord to pull in an emergency. It then emits an alarm sound (normally continuous beeping in the UK) to alert people to help with the emergency.
