Take it to a qualified mechanic He has to take the entire lift gate apart to find out Before taking it to a mechanic, do check if the problem is with the wiper blade/arm, or with the motor. The wiper arm has a nut which holds it to the motor. To access this, there is a cover at the end of the wiper arm (the other extreme end from the rubber blade). Flip this cover and check if the nut is tight. If not, tighten it. This might be the reason for the blade hanging. If it still continues to sag, open the nut and take out the wiper arm. You should be able to see the bolt from the wiper motor protuding out. Rock it to see if it is wobbling and shaky. If it is, then the plastic housing of the lift gate will need to be removed. It can be done, but does require mechanical proficiency
