How can you replace the license plate light bulb of Nissan Altima 2000 GLE?

Carefully insert a thin flat (smooth) blade between the vertical center of the license lamp lip (facing you) and the bumper cover. Carefully pry to raise the lamp frame/lip away from the bumper cover. Grasp the edge and pull outward and toward you to remove the lamp assembly. Twist the bulb socket counter clockwise and pull it out of the lamp assy. Pull the bulb straight out and replace with new. Replace the lamp assy by positioning it exactly as was as you pulled it out, then merely push/snap it back.
