I am assuming this is a World War 1 question, posted in the Germany in WW2 section.
Germany, Austro-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire signed a treaty with the Provisional Government creating what would today be considered the modern CIS. Poland was created as the puppet 'Kingdom of Poland', as were Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Finland, the Ukraine, and so forth. All but Poland lasted once Germany was forced into armistice and could no longer protect them from the Soviet Union.
Russia signed a treaty with Germany in March of 1918.
WW2 Russia did not drop out of the war. They defeated the Germans and captured Berlin. Before the war started, Germany and Russia signed a non-agression pact and they both attacked Poland that sits between them. Then Germany broke the pact and attack Russia without warning only a year or so later.
i think it was Russia I'm not entirely sure.
Because Germany declared war on Serbia, russia mobilized its army to protect Serbia due to an old alliance
Russia, revolutionary-later Communist. The Communist movement in Russia began ostensibly as an anti-war movement not too different from that opposing the Vietnam conflict in the sixties and seventies. it then, well got out of hand, escalated into political violence and the St.Petersburg massacre, et al. Russia was out of the European theatre of war by l9l7, the American Heritage Landmark book of World War I clearlty begins the chapter heading- Exit Russia.
Russia
World War 1 Germany invaded Russia in 1917 after Russia backed out of the war. World War 2 Germany invaded Russia during the Second World War on June 22, 1941 Operation Barbarossa
The eastern front was fought by Russia from the Allied Powers and Austria-Hungary and Germany of the Central powers. Russia later had a revolution and dropped out of the war.
Yes after Russia declared war on Austro-Hungary. (Germany's ally)
Germany declared war with Russia on 1st of August 1914 & in WW2 on the 22nd June 1941.
Russia was not an ally of Germany in World War 1.
Russia dropped out of World War I due to the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. The revolution led to the overthrow of the provisional government and the establishment of a communist regime under Vladimir Lenin. In March 1918, the new government signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Germany, formally ending Russia's participation in the war.
