Asia is an extremely large land mass. To determine the influence of Geography, it is necessary to determine the part of Asia and the time of history.

IRAQ was part of the fertile crescent. It was mainly vulnerable to the north.

Armies generally avoid mountains and deserts. If they come by sea, they generally start with a trading post or with one city. They expand from there.
