Push against the front bottom of the rear bench to release clips (takes a lot of pressure)
Lift bench out
You will see clips or bolts holding the bottom of the seat back - release these and push up on the backof the seat to release upper clips
There is a little lever on the bottom of the seat. Pull that out and close the seat so that the backrest is touching the bottom of the seat. Then pull out the handle on the side of the back of the seat. The seat will then unlock from the hinges.
The seat track is bolted to the floorboard. ANSWER: my 2001 Taurus had clips for the rear seat cushion where if you push the cusion twords the rear of the car then pull upward the cushion should come off...
in the fuel tank but access is under back seat... Remove back seat and fuel pump is easy to take out..
the best place is to remove the center seat belt in the back seat and bolt it to that...

There should be four bolts under the seat, move the seat all the way back then take the front two out than move it all the way forward and remove the back two, after that unhook any wires there are connected
First you have to remove 1/4" nut screws in the front of the bottom part of seat and remove. Then on the back part of seat there will be 2 1/2" (I think) bolts that also fasten the seat belts which will need removed. once you have done that push up on back part of seat and pull towards you. That's all you need to do.
To remove the back seat of a Skylark, reach into the area between the back and the seat and pull up on the seat. The back part of the seat is bolted in and will require a socket wrench to remove.
remove the rear seat (bottom) pops right out from front. remove the rear seat (back) two nuts on the floor. the rear speaker deck slides out.
usually by lifting the seat up. Look at the hinges for a bolt on each side. Take the bolt out and the seat will slide off the pivots. CAUTION!!! You will need an assistant and it will help to remove the front seat(s) first.
mine is a 1992 xj6 and it will have 1 screw at each end of the seat which are easy to see if you look by the foot well.remove them and that's it.
