There are many ways to post a webpage onto the internet. If you would like an individual web page, you should purchase a domain name. These require annual payments but can be very cheap (I found one that is $5.95). Then you must sign up for a Web Hosting site that will allow you to post your web page onto the Internet. Many of these require a one-time payment of up to $50.00 for full benefits. The advantages of paying for these: You don't get pesky advertisements and you can choose your domain name. Another option would be to go to geocities.com and sign up there. They provide free domain names and free hosting, but if you get the free package, an advertisement shows up on your webpage and it can become very annoying. They offer domain names that are in this format: http://www.geocities.com/yourwebsitehere
This can be very hard to remember. I believe there are deals in which you can redirect the page to a domain name you have purchased. Then, there are MANY blog hosts for FREE on the Internet. Some popular engines include Weblog and Blogspot (Blogspot is sponsored by Google). These are free and very useful. However, they are formatted to be blogs, so if your webpage is not in a format of a blog, this will not work. With those blog hosts, you need not create a webpage; they provide VERY easy and handy tools for you to create a blog within seconds.
