How do you access and replace the blinker switch on a 1996 Chevy Blazer?

Disconnect battery. Airbag needs to be disabled. Pull steering wheel with puller.After that, you have access to the turn signal/4 way hazard switch.You should get a Haynes repair manual to properly disable air bag to avoid injury.

The blinker relay is broken. It is located inside the hazard switch. Replace the switch and it will fix your problem.

the relay is located within the hazzard flasher switch. If faulty replace flasher switch and it will sort out the problem

your problem could be in the switch its self. unfortunetly they are expensive to replace, i had to actually wire a switch direct to the blinker system.

Try and replace the blinker switch. Iits a round thing under the dashboard on the fuse panel. It should be clearly marked.

Blinker switch defective. This is not always the case. You could have one of many problems. Flasher bad, bad bulb, bad connections.....please check these before you go and replace a blinker switch.

The hazard button alone can't be replaced. You will need to replace the complete signal switch which is called a multifunction switch.

The blinker switch is located to the left of the steering column. It is bolted up behind the dash board. It is not with the fuse box.

Un hook the electric conector on top of switch and screew it out with a wrench. EASY JOB

No. A Chevy Blazer does not have a reset switch.
