how do I bleed my power steering pete thank you
turn steering wheel lock to lock several times.
Yes, This is part of hydraulic system
turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times it bleeds itself when it is running
cut up the sable and make it run
It doesn't have a bleed valve for the power steering.
You don't bleed power steering fluid. Raise the front of the car, start the engine, turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock 3 times to get the air out of the system. Make sure to use axle stands and block the wheels so you can do this safely.
Check the fluid level in the power steering pump. If it is full the pump may be going out. Air in the pump will also cause this so bleed it. The way you bleed it is to start the engine and then turn the steering wheel fully to the right and then fully to the left around 5 times. This will bleed all air out of the system.
have you tried removing return line to bleed system ?
To bleed out any air, start the engine and turn the steering wheel fully from side to side. Keep checking the fluid and add as needed. This will force the air into the reservoir and out of the system. Caution: The fluid will expand as it heats up, so do not overfill.
Remove cap from Power steering resevoir Turn wheel from "Lock to Lock" several times should bleed system
