Unbolt the the power wires after disconnecting the battery. Then pull out the 2 or three bolts holding it in. then pull out the starter. Reverse for installation.

The starter is bolted to the engine by two bolts which makes it very easy to change, just remove the bolts and drop the starter down until you can remove the wires from it, it is a good idea to remove the negative battery cable before starting the job to prevent arcing the wires to ground.
if it is an automatic transmission it is a real nitemare. you have to remove the two transmission coolent lines from the radiator, then you have to slide the starter out through the front of the motor, in between the motor mount and the engine, it will only fit if you get it just right.
