YOu can't raise the engine high enough in a van ...you have to pull the tranny to pull oil pan back far enough to clear oil sump pump tube. Been there done that!!Raise and support engine, drop oil pan, disconnect pick-up tube from oil pump. Drop the tube in pan and remove pan. Robert Foley

also you may have to disconnect the Power Steering return line.so you can jack it up higher. PS don't be afraid to jack the engine way high.it will go just watch the fan shroud and p.s return hose.
