Just a screwdriver will handle it!
To change door pins on most vehicles, the old pin needs to be cut off with a blow torch. Then, the new door pin is welded in its place.
The bottom of the pins may have to be ground off to be removed. The pins are tapped upward to be removed. The door can be taken off to make access easier, or the door has to be supported to keep pressure off of the pins and to hold the door while the pins are out,
How do you change the door hinge pins and bushings on a 2002 GMC 1500 pickup truck?"
I`m a mechanic and I know a mustang door is very heavy/bulky you first need a way of supporting the door then your going to need help manuvering the door to align the holes so you can drive in the new pins and bushings but getting the old ones out can be very difficult if not almost impossible if frozen by rust you can try using a floor jack and a block of wood to support the door good luck it`s not a fun or easy job body shops are set up for these kinds of repairs

All you need is a screwdriver and a hammer. You just knock out the two pins on the caliper, change the pads and tap the pins back in.
You can change the skin. Japan's, on your Oldsmobile automobile, by propping the door up, so it cannot fall. Pound the inch pins out with a chisel and hammer.
need to replace door hindge pins and bushing, how do we get door off safely.
My advice based on experience is to replace the entire hinge assembly.
Hey Lee==Simply remove the hindge bolts and remove the door. Some are welded on and you sometimes can remove the hinge pins. GoodluckJoe
From what I was told, from the guy at the auto store, you can't. You have to replace the entire bracket.
