The engine oil capacity of a Buell Blast is 2 quarts including the oil filter. The transmission/primary drive oil capacity is one quart.
Oh, those are just disposable.
There are 2 plugs, one for engine oil, the other for transmission/primary drive oil. Both are underneath the engine/transmission case near the kick-stand support on the left hand side. Between the speedometer and the fuel tank, there is a black fitting that you can unscrew by hand. It looks like part of the tank hold-down, but that's actually your dipstick!
Any motorcycle oil with the weight 20W50. I use Valvoline 4 stroke motorcycle oil 20W50 and it works fine!
Follow the recommendations in your Buell owner's manual. Either Forumula Plus, or Sport Trans. Any 20W50 synthetic engine oil is also okay. Total oil capacity is 2.5 quarts according to the Buell Owner's manual, but always check the level according to instructions in the owners manual. Check oil only immediately after warm engine shutdown with the bike on level ground but resting on the side-stand.

Buell XBike engine oil capacity is 2.5 quarts including the oil filter. When changing oil, add two quarts and check level via dipstick with bike resting on side stand on flat and level surface. Add as required to bring level midway to full mark.

Run till engine is hot. Park and shut down. Place drain pan under drain plug, underneath engine case, forward of transmission lube drain plug. Remove drain plug allow to drain fully. Replace drain plug. Place drain pan under oil filter. Remove oil filter. Replace with new oil filter half-filled with fresh oil. Add oil to filler opening until level reaches midway between "Full" and "Add" marks on dipstick. Ride, and check level. Add as required. Grin, ride, lean, love, LIVE!
To check the automatic gearbox oil level on a 2002 Passat TDI Estate, pull out the dipstick with the gearshift in neutral. Let the engine run and check on the oil level.Ê
