locate the transfer case. unscrew the fill plug first(on my blazer its 2 Allen wrench screws) which is the one above the drain plug. stick your finger in. or use a flashlight and mirror. it is isn't up to the bottom of the FILL plug. add ffluid until it is. dextron III Transmission Fluid i beielve. go to pepboys or autozone and purchase the owners manual it helped me so much.

You add fluid the same place you check the fluid level.
check to see if your transfer case has to much fluid in it . remove upper plug .

Look in reservoir and make sure it is at least at the minimum mark
You fill in the same place you check it at the top left above your engine
change ur rear differential gasket or ur transfer case is leaking
