No it is not. The mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air coming into the engine. the O2 sensor measures the amount of oxygen after combustion. The mass airflow sensor is located in the air intake and the O2 sensor is located in the exhaust.
Check and clean the MAF sensor.
Purchase a can of mass air flow cleaner and follow the directions on the can. Don't try to clean it with anything else!
the sensor is not always bad to cause the light to come on. Most of the time the abs sensor gets alot of brake dust, mud, rust, and other forms dirt on them you just need to clean the sensor with a blow gun or brake clean the sensor is usually located by the tire
It is located behind the large crankshaft/harmonic dampner or pully on the belt drive end of the engine. You have to find it, maybe clean the area of dirt and grease, then see if you have access to the mounting screw. If not you have to remove the pully.
An ox sensor is a sensitive component it can easily b damaged it should b replaced at 65 to 75,000 miles for optimum performance. Corrosion ,acids and temperature plus abrasion from carbon take its toll. Replace the sensor.
The switch is just across from the battery located in the rad reservor, to remove it and clean the sensor probe, you have to remove the battery.
You can not successfully clean an oxygen sensor. You need to replace it.
Clean it using steel wool.
An abs sensor, can get metal shavings stuck to it, can brake clean, but normally if you have a fault it needs to be replaced.
the wheel speed sensor is all part of the wheel bearing hub assembly you cannot clean them you have to replace the hub assembly its not that hard of a job gm cars are known for this problem.
THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE ENGINE UNDER THE STARTER MOTOR. REMOVE AND REPLACE BUT MAKE SURE THE SERFICES ANE CLEAN AND USE A NEW O RING.
