First and foremost, disconnect the negative battery cable from your battery. If not you run the risk of blowing your amp. Turn all the knobs on your amps all the way down and turn your radio down. If not you could blow your speakers as soon as you turn the key. Trust me I know.

Run a 4 gauge power wire from your battery to a distribution block. Use a fusable link within 1 foot of the battery. Most wiring kits come with a fuse built in to the power cable.

From there run two 8 gauge power wires form the distribution block to the amps(one to each amp.)

Run two separate ground cables(6 or 8 gauge), each to good anchor bolts. Make sure the wires are secured tightly and touching bare metal. If necessary use a scraper or flat-head screw driver to scrape away any paint. (Two separate grounds will increase your sound quality. Only slightly but every little bit helps.)

Run the remote wire from your head unit to the first amp then using another wire connect the remote from the first amp to the remote on the second amp.

Run your RCA cables from the head unit to the amps. If your head unit only has one RCA output you can buy a splitter at most electronics stores.

Run your speaker wires from the speakers to the amps, reconnect your negative battery cable.

Get the songs "Late Night Tip" by Three Six Mafia or "We Ain't Playin" by Lil Flip, and now you're ready to permanently damage your hearing.

How do you connect two batteries in one car?

If the car is a 12 volt system, then you will want to connect the batteries in "parallel". IE: negative to negative and positive to positive. Because of "cranking amps" it would be advisable to use a cutoff switch when starting the car. (The switch would interrupt the power from one of the batteries so the amperage wouldn't toast the starter) Also, the alternator should be isolated as to charge the batteries one at a time.
