A 2002 Chevy Trailblazer will not start if the battery is dead or there is no gas. There are many other possibilities likes a defective starter, blown fuse, or bad ignition.
IT is your CV Joints which is making this noise.
I think this has an electric fan clutch. If it does then check to make sure it is bolted on good and if that isn't the case then a wobble would indicate a bad fan clutch.
In general they leak hydraulic brake fluid when they go bad.

Usually if there is no indication of clutch wear, such as slippage, yet with the clutch completetly depressed it's hard to engage gears and the clutch engages very quckly
