As a Carpenter i tap the wall with my hammer to listen for the studs!, you can tell when you come to one as the sound is duller when over a stud, also try a thin nail into wall and take centers once you find one, the rest should be roughly equal distances apart

A better way is to purchase an electronic device called a Stud Finder, follow directions. Most devices also tell you if there are Plumbing and electrical present.Something the "tapping"technique doesn't do.

How do you replace the head studs on a VW Beetle?

It's done in the context of an overhaul most of the time. You start by pulling the engine, then the heads. You COULD replace the studs one after another--unscrew an old stud, screw in a new one, unscrew an old stud and keep going around the engine--but it will be easier to pull the cylinders and replace all the studs at one time. but what studs the , cylinder studs that hold the head ont. No year stated. or the rockarm mounting studs. if you have loss studs in the main case. one pulls the motor and puts in case savers and new studs on them. this is a job for a vw experienced machine shop. http://ac-vw.com/

Insert the mounting screws and use a drill with a ratchet attachment to drill the mounting screws through the pilot holes. Make sure the mounting bracket is level on the wall. If the mounting bracket is not level on the wall, you could put too much pressure to one side of the bracket and bring down the TV all together. 5.
