Try the Torx bits onto the studs till you find the one that fits securely. Seems simple enough to me.
# The EGR valve is bolted to the rear cylinder head,at the transaxle end # Remove the air intake duct from the throttle body and air filter housing # Detach the vacuum line from the EGR valve.Disconnect the EGR pipe nut # Remove the EGR valve mounting fasteners # Remove the EGR valve and gasket from the manifold.Discard the gasket
remove wheel. if disk brake, knock studs out with a hammer. insert new studs from rear side of disk. use a spacer and wheel nut to pull stud thru disk until seated. then remove wheel nut and spacer. replace wheel if drum brakes you need to remove the brake drum, then proceed same as for disk brakes
Remove wheel and ensure vehicle is properly supported Remove caliper and caliper mount bracket Use a small sledge hammer to strike rotor in between lug nut studs. Use safety goggles After a few hits try pulling rotor off, if you can not keep hitting rotor with hammer Repeat until rotor comes off
should b bolts in engine compartment and then 1 bolt on bottom of strut make sure to use spring compressors and u will probably need heat for lower bolt dont worry about the smoke there is a rubber bushing in there u get a new one with new strut
\'02 Ventures use M8X1.25X98.5 exhaust manifold studs.
To remove the seats from a 1995 Corvette, you will need to remove the front and rear nuts from the seat frame studs. You will?æalso need to remove the lug wrench that is attached to the seat frame studs.
If yours has disc brakes, remove the caliper mounting bolts and move the caliper out the way. Remove the hub nut assembly and withdraw the disc. Separate the disc from its carrier and hammer out the studs from the front.
Start with undressing the cylinder head inlet and exhaust manifolds get a container for bolts and any other small stuff undo all of the cylinder head studs and lift off the cylinder head.
wheel studs? head studs?
Should be of the "peel off" type. Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotors and support Disc should slide off wheel studs
Three studs are used at the intersection of two walls, so as to provide a mounting surface for the linings on all sides.
Buy a spanner wrench with studs on the face to hold the pulley and a open end wrench that fits @ the fan bolt at auto parts store. Then turn the fan bolt in the direction the fan turns when the engine is on, holding the pulley with spanner wrench. And its off. Not that hard.Stan
1.Take off the tire... there will be little washers ont the wheel studs remove and discard there not needed 2.Take the caliper off the mounting bracket 3.remove the bracket ...and pull off the rotor

to remove the piston, you need to remove the carb and intake. You will then remove the 4 acorn nuts from the top of the cylinder head and the 2 bolts on the left side of the head. You can then remove the cylinder head and slide the cylinder up off of the 4 studs while insuring the piston is sliding out the bottom of the cylinder. Also take care in making sure the piston and connecting rod do drop against the studs as it exits the cylinder. To replace the piston, simply remove the cir-clip from either end of the recessed area in either side of the piston and you should be able to push the wrist pin from the connescting rod and piston. It is recommended that you replacee the cir-clip with a new one upon reassembly. And of course, you should reassemble with new head and cylinder-to-block gaskets.
It's done in the context of an overhaul most of the time. You start by pulling the engine, then the heads. You COULD replace the studs one after another--unscrew an old stud, screw in a new one, unscrew an old stud and keep going around the engine--but it will be easier to pull the cylinders and replace all the studs at one time. but what studs the , cylinder studs that hold the head ont. No year stated. or the rockarm mounting studs. if you have loss studs in the main case. one pulls the motor and puts in case savers and new studs on them. this is a job for a vw experienced machine shop. http://ac-vw.com/
do you want to remove the actual studs or remove the lug nuts? the lug nuts may have left hand thread which means they go clockwise to loosen if you mean remove actual studs, u need to remove wheel. the studs will knock out with a hammer. you will need to replace with new ones
