You take it to a professional because the computer has detected a problem with the SRS. Working on the SRS is not a DIY repair. Serious injury can occur from premature deployment of the air bag. Or you may end up with an air bag system that is non-functional. Do not attempt the repair yourself. Deploy the air bags and you will spend hundreds of dollars in repairing the mess you will make.
