I think you should go to the junkyard and get another one, but since you have to take yours out anyway, you might take it apart and look for any loose solder joints or obvious problems visually. In the age of "integrated circuits" it's often not worth the time to find the problem. If it's a chip, or a component on the circuit board, unless you know electronics and that particular circuit, and have the equipment, you'll be very lucky and it will take a long time either way, most likely.
is it manual or digital, get back at me
not without replacing the dash harness. The cars with digital have a sun load sensor and an ambient temp sensor to determine cabin air temperature. they also use the outside ambient temp sensor which may or may not be installed on your particular maxima.
Ambient, it refers to a function on your climate control
...YES.........BUT IS IT WORTH THE WORK AND TIME, THE BACK ACHE,AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE COST TO CHANGE EVERYTHING OUT........SEE ON MY BIO PAGE I GAVE A DETAILED OVERVEIW OF THE R&R IMFO ABOUT THIS ON ANOTHER QUESTION.HOPE THIS HELPS................................BUDDY MACK
It will require a great deal of modification, because the digital one requires a different type of sensor. It's not a plug-and-play swap. In my opinion, it's more trouble then its worth. It might be better to stick with the manual, as it is easier to operate.
The idle control valve for your 1995 Nissan Maxima can be found on top of the engine. The idle control valve will be attached to the back of the injector fuel pump.
Swirl Control Valve Control Vacuum Switch
under the coil
This is a tire pressure warning. Which can also trigger when there are drastic changes in climate.
it's under the rear seats.
Under front of right console
its like under the thing that you turn and stuff
