i lost my key to unlock my Monte Carlo. how can i unlock it? it a 1995
To disarm the alarm, you use the key to unlock either the front door, press the unlock button on the keyless entry transmitter. Insert a valid key into the ignition and switch the ON position.Ê
On the inside of the keyless entry remote or sometimes on the back it explains how to do this. I believe you hold the unlock button along with the lock button for 7 seconds near the car. It will explain it on the inside of the keyless entry remote.
Turn the radio off and hold down the station tuning button for about 10-15 seconds. You should have some options come on on your radio's screen. Scroll through the options by pressing the seek button on the radio until you see (Oil Life) then press the station tuning button again it should say RESET. If it does press it again and it will say DONE.
To be able to press the button on the shifter to remove your car from park you must press the break in.

You will most likely have to reset the light using the stock radio, the owners manual should tell you how to do it. You turn ur key to accessory, turn the radio off, then push and hold the display button. after this scoll to the tire pressure option using the seek button and enter this option by pressing the prev next buttons on the 1 and 2 of the radio.

No you cannot set the timing it is controlled by the ECM.
I have the same problem, but i have a '95 Monte Carlo but its the same bodyframe and my passenger door wont close. I have to either slam it to get it shut, or spend an hour or so playing with the door hinge....like my passenger door, when i open it up, you know how its got that grabber thing to make it grab on to the metal latch to shut it? Well, i have to open that and play with it, and the unlock/lock button to get it closed
I have a 2002 yellow Monte Carlo, and mine has two small round buttons on the radio insure, one for hour and one for min, with the radio off, push the hour button until the radio churps then select the hour and then push the minute button and then slect if it is am or pm
It SHOULD be on the steering column on the right side above the ignition (where you put the key) I just recently got a 98 Monte Carlo and that's where mine is (its just missing the button) and there's a hole where the button should be, if yours is like mine where the button is missing if you push your finger in, it will turn your hazard lights on and again to turn them off. Hope that helps.
Like most past and present F1 drivers, Jenson Button lives in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The principality has no taxes, no paparazzi and its the site of the Monaco GP, which he has won.
fuse gone: check fuse box, if not wire loose at horn, or at switch button
sure it can be done but you will need an ignition switch diagram to be able to do it so you know which wires go onto the push button.
Above the radio there is a button with red triangles on it. That is where the turn signal flasher is. You have to take the dash off to get to it.
Carlo Di Carlo was born on June 18, 1938, in Bologna, Italy.
