I have a 2001 There are maybe 2-3 screws. One is in the bottom, rear corner, the other behind the triangular plastic piece cover the mirror fasteners. On the drivers door, there is an additional screw behind the door pull. Once the screws are out the whole panel just lifts up, and off. Hope this helps! A little more information...on my 2004 E-350, there is a screw behind the door pull and another behind the window switches, making the total 4.
