You have to remove the inside door panel to get access to the door handle nuts.
there are screws in the door, and holding the handle on. You can get to the ones holding on the handle by pulling off the covers on each side of the door handle inside.
You will have to remove the entire door panel to get at the screws that hold the handle assembly to the panel.
You can replace the inside drivers door handle by removing the door panel. With the door panel removed the door handle mechanism will be visible. Remove the linkage from the door handle. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.

remove the door panel, there are 2 bolts that you can get to through holes in the inside steel panel. remove 2 linkages. the handle will then come off from the outside.
You have to remove the door panel...not easy, but do-able. Once that is off you can remove the door handle and replace it.
