I assume the problem you are having is that the instrument cluster doesn't fit past the stearing wheel. The cluster has to be pulled out the front of the dash. First remove the bezel around the front of the cluster and then the 2 large bolts that hold up the steering colum must be removed and you can lower the wheel down onto the seat and pull the instrument cluster out towards the drivers seat. Another tip is that odometer is digital and it is common for it to look shattered or black if you are removing the factory black faces to install white ones. Don't panic when you plug the gauge back in it will return to normal.

How to dismantle dashboard in a 1994 Toyota pickup truck?

There are four Philips screws holding the upper dashboard to the car frame, loosen both and remove. Then remove the lower part, it is kept in place by six similar screws. Three of four screws at the top of the Instrument panel shroud should be removed. Remove the screws and the shroud. You will probably have to remove both the upper and lower dash covers. Then look for 4-5 screws holding the instrument cluster in. It may be necessary to loosen the steering column also, held in place by several bolts.

How do you take out an instrument cluster in a 1996 Chrysler sebring jxi?

Pop out the bezel around the radio and note the 5/16 bolts (4 of 'em ) holding the main cluster bezel down. Remove the Fuse Access door on the driver side with the door open and remove the 5/16 screw just inside the access area. Remove them and GENTLY pull up on the assembly until it begins to pop out. The entire assembly should lift out from around the instrument cluster. Remove the 4 screws on the cluster (same size as the others) and lift the cluster. Lay the cluster down upside down and CAREFULLY unplug the cluster. One Blue, One Black connector. VIOLA! it's out. Replace in the reverse order.
