You must remove the radio and read the serial # off the chassis. Or you can do it the easy way if you actually own the vehicle. Go to this new Honda website link I am posting.
My local Honda dealer wanted $116 to remove the radio and check the serial number. (1998 Accord) I went home and removed 2 screws at the bottom of the plastic trim and pulled it out and held it up. Then I could remove the 4 screws holding the radio in place. I then pulled out the radio enough to turn it upside down and read the serial number. Call the Honda phone number on the Honda owner's website or go to the dealer for the radio code to enter using the radio pushbuttons.
Depending on the year! The stock radio on my 1990 accord required a 4 digit code in order to program. Just obtain the serial number on the bottom of the radio and take it to your nearest Honda dealer and they'll give you the code that's required! A much easier way is to go to the link I will post and sign up at Honda Owner Link. With the VIN number you can get the code for free if it is the OEM radio and you do not have to remove the radio to get the serial number.
The code is specific to the radio in your Honda. The dealer may be able to tell you the code. If they do not have it stored in their computer, you will need to get the Serial # off the radio. With the serial # they can find the code.
first you need the serial number of the radio which is located on the back of the radio. Honda will charge you about $60 to remove the radio and get the serial number. once Honda has the serial number they can look up the radio code on their computer system
Remove the radio from the dash. On the back side of the radio you should find a decal with the serial number on it.
If you have 2002 or newer Honda turn the vehicle to the on position. Press the preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time while turning on the radio. A 10 digit serial number will appear on the radio display. If you have a 2001 or older Honda the serial number is located on the body of the radio unit.
in order to get the radio code you must first take out the stereo and get the serial number off the back of the radio then call a Honda dealership with the VIN and proof of ownership and they can get you the code. You then enter the code using the preset buttons. GOOD LUCK!!
Go to Honda's web site and sign up on at the Owner's Link. With the VIN # off your car you can get the code. Otherwise you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off the radio chassis. With this serial # any Honda dealer can tell you the code.
Power the radio, and then enter the anti-theft code using the preset numbers at the bottom of the radio. If the anti-theft code is unknown, contact Honda with the 17-digit vehicle identification number.
No one can tell you this code for free but Honda will tell you what it is free of charge. Just click the link I will post and register your Honda on the Honda Owners Link. Once you do that you will be able to get the code with your VIN #, phone #, and serial # off there radio. The instructions will tell you how to find the serial #.
Looks like the radio code for a particular radio on a Honda.
