Remove the cover on the clutch fluid resivior, making sure it is full of fluid. Open the bleeder valve and wait for the fluid to start dripping from the valve, then tighten the valve. This will get you going until you find someone to help you bleed it properly. Put the cover back on, after re-filling the fluid that just filled the new slave cylinder. If you have a helper, have them sit in the car and press the pedal all the way down to the floor 4 to 5 times. After the last pump, have them hold the pedal all the way down to the floor. Tighten the bleeder valve, and repeat the process a few times until the clutch has good pedal.
The clutch pedal assembly has a clutch rod that pushes in on a clutch master cylinder. There is a hydro line that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder.

Probably do to a bad pressure plate and or clutch plate. I would first check linkage adjustment and slave cylinder before changing clutch.

After you have located the clutch slave cylinder, have someone depress the clutch pedal. You should see the piston of the slave cylinder extend somewhat. If it does not, either the slave cylinder is bad, or the master cylinder, or, there is not enough brake fluid in the system for it to operate properly. Check the level in the master cylinder. If the slave cylinder is leaking profusely, it is probably bad.

No.... There is not an adjustment what so ever. You either have a bad clutch slave cylinder / clutch master cylinder. Are the clutch and pressure plate are worn out.
The slave cylinder is a hydraulic device that acutuates the clutch. As you depress the clutch pedal it's movement sends hydraulic pressure to the clutch to release it. It's like stepping on the brakes only withe clutch.
