Short answer: you do not install freon in a '95 Saturn, because only pre-1993 cars use freon. The new R-134a A/C is available in recharge kits at most automotive or discount stores. Do NOT just buy a couple of cans of R-134a and a hose. Get a hose with an integral pressure guage such as this one that includes hose, pressure guage, R-134a refrigerant with sealer and leak detector: http://www.id-usa.com/product.asp?CID=27&PID=225 Once you have the above kit (or the equivalent), start the car with the A/C on and set to its highest output. Let it run for three or four minutes this way. NOTE: DO NOT pierce the can of refrigerant, yet. With the car and A/C still on, connect the hose to the guage to the LOW port* (unless your car's been improperly modified from stock, the hose adapter should ONLY fit on the LOW pressure port. Test the pressure. The refrigerant pressure on the low pressure port should be between about 22-45 pounds. If the pressure on the LOW port is higher than that, take it to a competent mechanic. If the pressure is lower than 22 pounds, follow the A/C recharge kit directions to add refrigerant, but NEVER add refrigerant above the 45 pound level. Overpressure WILL damage your A/C. (That's the reason for using a kit with a guage.) *Locating the A/C/ pressure ports. Here's a pic of my own LOW port (97 SL) with an A/C recharge kit attached: http://www.thirdworldcounty.us/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/recharge.jpg
