Save up your money and have the job done by a pro, honestly, its a pain and not worth the savings.
B18C1(1.8l VTEC) Acura Integra GSR has a L4 type engine with 1.8 L and 1,797 cc power. Its non-turbo engine model runs with gasoline. If you want to know more about engines or any of its parts details you can find more at: http://www.hiperformer.com/engines/acura-integra-used_engines-x_14.html. I too follow this link to gather details.
The gas tank, maybe? MOST LIKELY IT IS THE HEATER CORE LEAKING OR IT COULD BE WATER CONDENSATION FROM THE A/C EVAPORATOR CORE.
If the timing belt has broken, the usual case is the motor has bent valves and is destroyed.
The majority of Honda/Acura Inline 4 cylinder engines correct direction of rotation is COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. Only some of the newer 4 cylinders are clockwise as with most of their V6 engines. I owned a 1987 Integra, so I know this for sure.
Don't take my advice because I don 't know, but take off the old one and put on the new one.
ya for sure, any B18 engine can fit in an integra. I don't know why you would want to swap in a slower engine tho... The GSR engine is a B18c which comes with VTEC pulling out about 178 hp @ 7600 rpm and a GS/LS/RS usually come with a B18b Non VTEC pulling out about 142 hp @ 6300 rpm.
you turn your key from one to two one to two and you should here your fuel pump working right by the gas tank let me know if you get it
It does not matter, the motor will continue to turn either way until stopped by the window regulator.
The interior air condition filter also know as pollen filter on a 1995 Integra is located in the cabin of the vehicle. Remove the glovebox and the filter is directly behind it. Pull and replace the filter.
If I understand the question correctly, you're wondering what cars the '87 Integra engine will fit in. The only car I know for a fact that it will fit with modifications to wiring and ECU would be the Honda CRX, I'm unsure of the years but it shouldn't be too hard to find. If you're wondering what engines will fit in the '87 Integra, there aren't many alternatives. There's the '88-'89 Integra engines, those have an extra 5 horses over the '86-'87 engines but you will have to redo wiring and get a new ECU. A better choice would be the JDM Browntop Integra ZC. A direct swap with no modification required and has around 30 more horses than the stock engine.
you could have a bad ignition switch, it is the electrical piece behind the key inlet, you need to remove the steering column cover to remove it, cost about 70 to 150 dollars depending on brand, goodluck, let me know if this works.
do you want to know how to remove your alternator? i have a 1990 integrea too and this is how you remove it ... you have to remove your axle to get the alternator out ... i had the same problem before....... hopes this help you a bit ... i know it's a lot of work but that's the only way .........
Dont know who said the last comment but its completely wrong. Its the anti-theft protection on your radio you need the five digit security code from the dealer to unlock it.
If by caution light you mean circle with an exclamation point surrounding by brackets then I believe that is the indicator to let you know that the handbrake is on. this turns on when you lift the handle atleast one click from the bottom.
If your radio is locked and you DONT know the passcode then you need to call Acura....but if you do know the password...then you should enter it
I don't know about just the engine but the complete cooling system including the engine , radiator, heater and all hoses holds aprox 5 qts. Some with standard transmission take a little less.
check the main fuze panel on passingerside under the bonnet.cud be that d wireing has earthed wen d backbarrol wea brokein from steering colum
Anyone who proudly owns this beautiful car should know that the fuel pump is located under the back seats. You have to twist and pull up on the silver cap located under there. Have fun....it is not too hard at all. Unfortunatly that is incorrect. On the 1992 integra the gas tank must be dropped from the car. The only thing under the back seat is the gauge and the wires
it would be helpful if at least the model was given. i know in my 88 integra, all you have to do is push the buttons down on either side to let either the left half or the right half of the seats or both
i don't know i not in to cars
