I believe bank 1 sensor 1 is Passenger side before catalytic converter. sensor 2 is after catalytic converter.
bank 2 sensor 1 is Driver side before catalytic converter. sensor 2 is after catalytic converter.
Cam sensor on 1996 Dodge intrepid 3.5 V6 is on the driver's side on top where the cam gear turns on the front of the engine.. Usually has a 90 deg. connector for the wires.. MUST be air gapped correctly to work proplerly.. DO NOT Bottom the sensor out against the cam gear unless the new sensor has a card board disc glued to the end of the sensor to set the gap... Good luck!
# The sensor is located in the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe and is accessible from under the vehicle # Since the oxygen sensor may be difficult to remove with the engine cold begin by operating the engine until it has warmed to atleast 120 degrees # Disconnect the electrical wire from the oxygen sensor and carefully unscrew the oxygen sensor from the exhaust pipe.Be adviced that excessive force may damage the threads inspect the oxygen sensor for damage unless you are replacing it

look right before the converter unless your pipes has been changed
they leak it is common.on the intrepid the sensor is on the passenger side half way up the block.unscrew it on the smaller sedan stratus etc.it is buried in the back under a small heat shield hard to do unless on a lift
then you wouldnt exsist unless god had an alternative salotuion to netrution
Many reasons.... but have it check the Cap Sensor.... If the sensor is bad the car engine will run at certain speed while the transmission thinks is going faster/slower... if the sensor is starting to fail your car may turn on some days and others dont. Good Luck.
you would have to look up your specific model on a website like autozone. on my 97 lumina, the sensor is 18.99. where it will cost you, unless you replace it yourself, is labor at the shop. ive had mine estimated at 150$ I was just quoted $200 for a crankshaft sensor replacement in a 1998 Chev Lumina.
Unless it was torqued (tightened) too tightly and broken when it was installed, in operation it suffers no mechanical wear. It may simply be worn out and failed due to age.
I think you can if you are ingaged. Or it depends on what state you live in. But if I were you I wouldnt. Unless your parents abuse you.
The starter in a 96 intrepid is located on the driver side of the car and is about even with the front of the tire, it is nearly invisible unless you are actually under the car. I would not recommend replacing this yourself unless you have a garage quality lift or a jack that will reach 24 plus inches.
because if your american you wouldnt get it unless you understand japaneese
